To add a new cryptocurrency account on Ledger Live Desktop, follow these steps:

  1. Open Ledger Live: Launch Ledger Live Desktop by double-clicking its icon on your desktop or finding it in the Start menu.

  2. Connect Ledger Device: If you haven't already connected your Ledger hardware wallet to your computer, do so using the USB cable and enter your PIN code on the device if prompted.

  3. Navigate to Accounts: In Ledger Live, you'll see a sidebar on the left-hand side. Click on the "Accounts" tab. This will display a list of your existing cryptocurrency accounts.

  4. Add Account: To add a new cryptocurrency account, click on the "Add Account" button. It's usually located at the top-right corner of the Ledger Live window.

  5. Choose Cryptocurrency: Ledger Live will present you with a list of supported cryptocurrencies. Scroll through the list or use the search bar to find the cryptocurrency you want to add an account for. Click on the cryptocurrency name to select it.

  6. Confirm on Device: After selecting the cryptocurrency, Ledger Live will prompt you to confirm the action on your Ledger device. Follow the instructions on your device's screen to confirm adding the account.

  7. Review Settings (Optional): Depending on the cryptocurrency, Ledger Live may offer additional settings or options for configuring the account. Review these settings and adjust them according to your preferences if necessary.

  8. Account Added: Once confirmed, Ledger Live will add the new cryptocurrency account to your list of accounts. You'll see it displayed in the "Accounts" tab, along with your existing accounts.

  9. Repeat for Other Cryptocurrencies: If you want to add accounts for additional cryptocurrencies, simply repeat the process by clicking on "Add Account" and selecting the desired cryptocurrency.

That's it! You've successfully added a new cryptocurrency account to Ledger Live Desktop. You can now manage this account alongside your existing ones within the Ledger Live interface.
